I am a Research Fellow at the University of Sussex at the Sussex Vision Lab with Jenny Bosten. My research focus is on object and colour perception in the visual system using neuroimaging.

  • Our latest paper is now out in PNAS (2026): a new fMRI method called voxel-preferred images (VPIs) to analyse the responses to images in large fMRI datasets.
    • Bevil Conway and Spencer Loggia wrote a great commentary on our paper in PNAS
    • The Argus also wrote a nice article about our paper
  • Passed my viva (Dec 2023)
  • Submitted my PhD thesis and now working as a post-doc at the Sussex Vision Lab (Oct 2023)
  • I gave a poster presentation at ECVP (Aug 2023)
  • I gave a talk at the Colour Workshop in Rauschlosshausen, Germany about my PhD work (July 2023)
  • I joined the Sussex Vision Lab as a part-time Research Fellow (Jan 2023)
